In my last post, I talked a little bit about email and how I use it. There are other communication tools, however, on the Internet. I use Yahoo Messenger for instant messaging (IM)–my user name is donovanmn. I’ve tried Trillian and other IM tools that allow you to communicate with people on a variety of platforms. I tend to stick with Messenger because I don’t regularly communicate with non-Yahoo users and I have not found a multi-platform IM application that gives me all the functionality that Yahoo offers, particularly when it comes to video.
